Abstract: Exciton-polaritons are quasiparticles formed by excitons and photons when they are in the strong coupling regime. The hybrid properties inherited from both excitons and photons make it a great platform to study topological photonics. In this talk, I will first talk about recent developments of topological effect in exciton-polaritons such as SSH model and polariton Chern insulator. Then I will present our recent works on polariton antichiral edge states and non-Hermitian skin effect.
报告人简介:包瑞琪,本科就读于哈尔滨工业大学物理学院。于2020年起在新加坡南洋理工大学攻读博士学位,博士导师为Timothy C. H. Liew。主要研究方向为激子极化激元中的拓扑现象,非厄米趋肤效应,激子极化激元中的非线性相互作用及其应用等。博士期间工作成果发表于Physical Review B,Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, New Journal of Physics。
